Materials conservation - Timber Flooring

A native hardwood floor is a classic feature of Sydney and NSW buildings . Since it was delivered to a conference of NSW Heritage Advisors in the year 2000, this article on how to look after timber floors has been one of the most popular on the NSW Heritage Website.

The attached photo is of the dining hall at St Pauls College, which is mentioned in the article. We continue to give advice on floors in all kinds of settings, and to keep up to date with changing techniques for finishing floors.
